Tengwar
Sarati
This is the Tengwar, devised by Fëanor in his youth. These are somewhat inspired by the Sarati, the earlier script of Rúmil. More information can be found on the Tengwar in the Help File provided by Dan Smith with his fonts.
The Values here assigned to the Tengwar were done so by myself. They are not the values used by the Noldor, the Sindar, or even Tolkien himself. I have tried to create a common 'mode' which can be used when writing in either English or any of the Eldarin tounges. Although I doubt if anyone else will use the 'Tengwar Moricurunir', but I felt that as I have written the Tengwar half of this site using my mode, it would be stupid not to display said mode. I have used the decimal numbering system in the site as it makes it easier to understand for all but the most advanced(and scary) Tolkien Linguists.
